Riconfigurazioni identitarie nei contesti urbani degradati: discontinuità e riflessività
2019
2021
The autonomy of the will or power of self-regulation of relationships derived from marriage is a subject that is on the rise and that we can qualify as novel. More and more couples are opting to proceed making use of this power to self-regulate both personal and property effects derived from their union or its future breakdown. In the Spanish legal system there is no precise and complete regulation of the subject, without all these figures being equally legislated, although all are admitted without any doubt by jurisprudence. In recent years there has been an evolution of Family law, traditionally very reluctant to give space to self-regulation. Our Constitution marks a turning point by cha…
Things matter: about materiality and recovery from mental health difficulties
2020
ABSTRACT Purpose The aim of this study is to explore how material things might become involved in the recovery process of people with mental health difficulties. Method Empirical material from three different studies on various aspects concerning mental health issues that each of the authors had conducted was reanalysed through a phenomenological item analysis. Results We discovered that mundane objects such as a mobile phone, a bench, a door and a key have agency to contribute to peoples’ recovery and wellbeing. Things became agents that created contexts that initiated physical, social and emotional movements. Conclusion By giving attention to materiality we might become aware of the impor…
2011
In the chapter, a discussion is presented concerning a sample of young people who tend to get out of a deviant life path thanks to the strong 'discontinuity' represented by a prison sentence and by being entrusted to social services. The authors succeed in bringing out the process through which an experience - that of punishment - is articulated, i.e. lived and interpreted by the subjects, with the facilitation of a social worker. One can thus see how the articulation of the experience (supported by a social worker) can bring out a reflexivity that is not fractured, which instead characterised many of these young people before entering the transition phase. This also constitutes an importan…
